My dear, I’m writing this just after coming home from my Japan retreat… and I’m still a little bit there. I know, I know. I always rave about my groups. But each one really is its own world, and this one was something else. Different generations, different worlds, one connection. Our youngest participant was 30. Our wisest was 79. There were a mother traveling with her son, a married couple, and women who arrived on their own, not knowing a single soul. And somehow all of these worlds met. Together we soaked in Onsen hot springs. We made traditional Washi paper with our own hands. We prayed in ancient temples and sat in Zen meditation with a Buddhist monk. We watched a tea ceremony, shared a private dinner with a young Maiko (an apprentice Geisha)… and ate way too much delicious Japanese food. But what moved us most wasn’t any of that. It was each other. Our stories. Our challenges. Our curious hearts. There were tears, and SO much laughter. And yes, honestly… a journey this intense pushed our buttons more than once. 😅 Tired bodies, full schedules, different needs. And still, or maybe because of that, we got to feel seen and accepted exactly as we are, with all our imperfections. That’s the part I keep thinking about. So many of us spend our days being the reliable one, holding everything together, functioning… and we rarely get to just be with people who meet us there. Don’t we all crave more of that kind of real connection? Nothing fills my heart more than creating these spaces and then watching what unfolds. The softening. The smiles getting bigger day by day. That’s why I want to share what’s coming next. In 2027 I’m only hosting two retreats, and Puglia is already almost full. PUGLIA, ITALY | June 12–17, 2027 An ancient Masseria close to the sea. Home-cooked meals the way they’ve been made for generations. Old stone, olive trees, slow mornings, and centuries of history to explore. Puglia filled up faster than I expected… so I’m happy to share that two extra double rooms are being added this winter. That means a few more of you can join us, and these are the last places available:
👉 Reserve your place in Puglia FINCA SON SARD, MALLORCA | September 25 – October 1, 2027 This finca already feels like a second home to me, and I can’t wait to share it with you again. This time I’ll be hosting together with Daniel again, who will be playing the Hang. If you’ve never rested in yin with his sound washing over you… it’s hard to describe. Your whole system just exhales. Six nights in a small, international group. Mornings begin with a gentle but energizing vinyasa flow. Evenings slow down with yin, so you truly settle instead of just collapsing into tiredness. In between we’ll do beach excursions, conscious communication practices, and rest by the pool, so you don’t only relax but also go home with something you can actually use in your life and relationships. Every room at the finca is unique, so just hit reply and I’ll send you the brochure with all available rooms. Rates start from €1,950 for the 6-night retreat. 👉 Reserve your place in Mallorca If you’ve been feeling the desire for more presence, more connection, more you… maybe one of these is calling. And if you’re unsure which one fits, or whether a retreat is right for you right now, simply write back. I’m happy to talk it through with you and also offer different payment options. With love and a big hug, On a private note: winter in Mallorca? We’re subletting our home in Mallorca for November and/or December 2026, while we travel until January 1st. Sea view, stunning nature walks right outside the door, and much warmer weather than most of Europe. It’s perfect if you’re craving time away to work on a project, write, or simply breathe somewhere beautiful. Reply to this email and I’ll send you details and photos. |

This morning on my mat, my body asked for something different than what I had planned. I had a sequence in mind. Something familiar, something I'd already decided on before I even rolled out the mat. And then I got there, breathed in, and felt: Upps, no. Not this. Something slower. Something quieter. So I adjusted. Simple as that. And it made me think about how much of yoga is actually this. Not the shape we make with our body, but the honesty to notice when something isn't working anymore,...
Two and a half years into rebuilding my life in Mallorca, here's what's actually true right now: I'm tired. Not lost. Not in crisis. Just tired — from figuring it all out, from keeping going, from holding it together while I build something new. There's a particular exhaustion that comes from trying hard for a long time. It's quiet. It doesn't look like burnout from the outside. It just feels like… I want to stop performing capable for a minute. I want to be met, not managed. I catch myself...
