This morning on my mat, my body asked for something different than what I had planned. I had a sequence in mind. Something familiar, something I'd already decided on before I even rolled out the mat. And then I got there, breathed in, and felt: Upps, no. Not this. Something slower. Something quieter. So I adjusted. Simple as that. And it made me think about how much of yoga is actually this. Not the shape we make with our body, but the honesty to notice when something isn't working anymore, and the courage to change it. Alignment isn't about getting a pose to look a certain way. It's about listening closely enough to know when to hold steady and when to let go. I've had to practice this off the mat too, these last two weeks. I made the decision to cancel the Greece retreat. The interest simply wasn't there, and I could have pushed forward anyway, told myself a story about how it would come together. But that would have been the opposite of everything I teach. So I listened. I adjusted. And I let it go. At the same time, the Puglia retreat is very much moving forward. Two additional rooms are being build in December and just opened up, if you've been feeling the pull but weren't sure there was space for you. You can find all the details here: https://dagmarspremberg.com/italy-yoga-retreat/ - take a proper look and see if it feels like a yes in your body, and in your calendar. And if you want to practice this kind of listening with me sooner than that, I'm teaching my Sacred Sunday live stream yoga class this Sunday at 12 noon EST / 6pm CET. No pressure to have it all figured out. Just come as you are, and we'll adjust together. Join here: https://dagmar-spremberg-yoga.heymarvelous.com/event/details/1034068. With love, Dagmar P.S. For my Mallorca community: If you happen to be around November 15th, I would love to invite you to join me alongside Isabelle Stüssi for our next Wise Women Day Retreat - combining Ayurveda wisdom with Yoga, Spa treatments and delicious brunch at Cal Reiet - for a day of sisterhood in the heart of Mallorca for women in midlife. |

Two and a half years into rebuilding my life in Mallorca, here's what's actually true right now: I'm tired. Not lost. Not in crisis. Just tired — from figuring it all out, from keeping going, from holding it together while I build something new. There's a particular exhaustion that comes from trying hard for a long time. It's quiet. It doesn't look like burnout from the outside. It just feels like… I want to stop performing capable for a minute. I want to be met, not managed. I catch myself...
